Six days ago I purchased a Omnia 2 from Mega Exchange.
I like the phone and the display style.
But I notice that there seem to be a error in the user manual supplied
by Samsung along with the phone.
The diagram points to a location for soft reset and instruct the user to
use a toothpick to press that small slot. But the phone does not reset
if you do that. Because that is the antenna slot and the phone can get
damaged if someone follow the instruction in the manual..( Page 24 ).
Now my phone cannot make or receive calls or SMS. It looks like
the antenna part is damaged by this soft reset action.
Actually, when I purchased the phone, I noticed that the Storage card
cannot be detected as well as some other errors. Even after soft reset.
I think that soft reset had already caused some damage.
So when I took it to the service center, they told me to leave the unit for two weeks to repair.
I expected them for replacement, I really felt bad about it where infact it would not be damaged if their manual is 100% perfect.I hope SAMSUNG will resolve or revise immediately their manual to avoid any of their customer to be a victim again....
